Halimeh brings a service-oriented approach and over a decade of experience in real estate and business transactions to McKenna Law.

A graduate of UIC School of Law, she began her career as a paralegal, developing strong skills in managing complex deals, due diligence, and contract negotiations. Now as an attorney, Halimeh is dedicated to delivering thoughtful, client-centered service, making each transaction as seamless as possible. With a commitment to accessibility and a genuine passion for client success, she strives to create positive, lasting impacts in every engagement.

Kelsey Bowen

Paralegal

Kelsey has 15 years of real estate expertise as a Paralegal, and she provides unparallelled client service for McKenna Law.

Kelsey assists clients and our professional partners by providing regular contact and updates. She manages the closing process every step of the way, coordinating with all parties–attorneys, real estate agents, lenders, and other service providers. She dockets and maintains the file calendar and keeps track of important deadlines. She produces conveyancing documents for each client sale file, and is an integral part in scheduling and preparing all meetings throughout the course of each transaction.

Kelsey graduated with honors from Elgin Community College, with an Associate of Applied Science Paralegal Degree.

A true native of McHenry County, Kelsey enjoys spending time within her community connecting with her family and friends.

Sarah LaLond

Paralegal

Sarah creates a welcoming environment for our clients and transaction partners. She has been at McKenna Law since 2021 and completed her paralegal certificate that same year.

She responsible for ensuring compliance by our corporate clients with annual statutory requirements. As part of our real estate team, she coordinates with lenders, title companies and scheduling.
Sarah graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University and has her Paralegal certificate from McHenry County College. In her free time she enjoys may of the area’s forest preserves walking her dog.

Jill McKenna

Accounting

With over 20 years of real estate transaction experience, Jill provides McKenna Law with financial services in accounts payable and receivable, as well as office management.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has also completed ALTA Land Title courses. Jill also provides interior design and staging services for many of our real estate professional partners.
