Kelsey Bowen

Paralegal

Utilizing her considerable multitasking skill set and experience, Kelsey provides unparalleled client service for McKenna Law.

Kelsey assists clients and our professional partners by providing regular contact and updates. She manages the closing process every step of the way, coordinating with all parties–attorneys, real estate agents, lenders, and other service providers. She dockets and maintains the file calendar and keeps track of important deadlines. She produces conveyancing documents for each client sale file, and is an integral part in scheduling and preparing all meetings throughout the course of each transaction.

Kelsey graduated with honors from Elgin Community College, with an Associate of Applied Science Paralegal Degree.

A true native of McHenry County, Kelsey enjoys spending time within her community connecting with her family and friends.

Jill McKenna

ATG Member Closer

Jill McKenna has been a closing agent for Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund since 2003. She brings her many years’ experience closing real estate transactions to McKenna Law as its dedicated Member Closer.

Having Jill as our Member Closer means a smoother closing process when it counts the most—in the days leading up to closing and when the parties are at the closing table. It also affords us greater flexibility when it comes to scheduling our clients’ closings. By having Jill exclusively available for McKenna Law closings, we are better able to provide closing solutions.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has also completed ALTA Land Title courses.

In keeping with her interest in all phases of the real estate sales process, Jill also provides interior design and staging services for many of our real estate professional partners.

Sarah LaLond

Legal Assistant/Office Manager

Sarah manages the day-to-day operations at McKenna Law, ably handling a wide range of roles within the firm.

As our Director of First Impressions, she brings great enthusiasm and personality and has created a welcoming environment for our clients and transaction partners. Sarah is also primarily responsible for ensuring compliance by our corporate clients with annual statutory requirements. An integral part of our real estate department, she works with our title insurance partners and coordinates with lenders. Sarah also heads our social media and online presence.

Sarah graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University and is currently completing a paralegal certificate from McHenry County College.

After hours, Sarah enjoys walking her dog around her neighborhood and the beautiful McHenry County Forest Preserves.
